Our partners have developed a biological feedback system based on chlorophyll a fluorescence measurements that allows the LED grow lights to communicate with the plants and adjust its light output to optimize photosynthesis. The system consists of a 1) plant sensor which captures plant chlorophyll fluorescence; 2) a processor and control program; 3) LED light system.

The biological feedback system is able to sense and to adapt to external environmental variations providing always the optimal amount of light, saving energy when necessary and boosting the lights when needed.
